Second Place Award in Poster Presentations at the 9th International Cosmetics Congress

As a result of the evaluation of poster presentations held within the scope of the 9th International Cosmetics Congress, the poster study prepared by Dr. Ahmet Arif KURT, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy of Süleyman Demirel University, and his students, was awarded second place.

The poster study, titled “Investigation of Nanoemulgel Formulations of Helichrysum italicum (Roth) G. Don Essential Oil,” focuses on the development of nanoemulgel formulations of Helichrysum italicum essential oil for topical use, and the evaluation of its short-term physicochemical stability and in-vitro antioxidant activity. The study stood out in the congress evaluation process with its scientific approach to formulating naturally derived active ingredients with innovative carrier systems and the results obtained.

The poster study was prepared with the contributions of students Zeynep AYGÜNDÜZ, Ceyda SARIÇAM, Taner ASLAN, and Aysun BULUT; the academic staff included Dr. Ahmet Arif KURT and Dr. [Name of second professor]. Dr. Başar ÇELEBİ also contributed to the research.
